John Kray brings over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. He began his career in the Property damage restoration industry, specializing in commercial and residential property damage claims. He held various positions of increasing authority and supervisory roles through the years, including Restoration Team Leader, Production Supervisor, and Sales Estimator. His last role in the Restoration Industry was as General Manager for Belfor Property Restoration. In this role, he led the start-up of a new branch location in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, that grew from no revenue to over $4 million in 4 years. John then transitioned to Travelers Insurance for the last 14 years. During his tenure at Travelers, he held Claim leadership roles in Property, Auto Physical Damage, Auto Liability, and Worker’s Compensation. His latest role was part of the local Executive Management Team as Area Vice President of Worker’s Compensation for the Southeast. John is well-versed in all aspects of claims handling and the life cycle of the policy process. He profoundly understands Commercial and Personal Lines policies and how coverages apply in real-life situations. John was also critical in the sales process of new commercial clients and participated in renewal stewardship meetings, leading to increased sales and retention for the organization.
